Hello Parents,
We are excited for Summer Camps in 2024 and we hope you are too! We want to make sure you are prepared and have answers to your questions, so we crafted this lengthy email explaining how our registration process works. It's worth the read and will tell you everything you need to know when you register your child for summer camp in January 2024.
Current 6th-8th graders- July 26-30 Washington Family Ranch Creekside ($900)
Current 9th-12th graders August 7-12 -Malibu, BC ($1200)
Registration Process
Registration will go live at 11:00am Monday, January 22nd. You can find the links to both camp registration pages on our website under the "Camp" Tab and in an email we will send out the day of registration.
Registration is based on your son/daughter's CURRENT grade in January 2024.
Registration will be a lottery, NOT first come first serve. Our registration system will initially place ALL students on the waitlist and then they will be randomly selected off this list on February 6th.
We will let you know via email on Tuesday, February 6th if your child's spot has been officially reserved or if they remain on the waitlist. Your confirmation email will also have a link to complete camp payment and Health Forms.
During registration, you will be asked to input your credit card information. However, you will NOT be charged until your child has been moved off the waitlist. You can opt for either the deposit or full payment at the time of registration.
Camp deposits ($200) are non-refundable after March 1st. If you cancel before March 1st, your deposit will be refunded. Your first camp payment ($300) will be made automatically to your card on April 1st. This is non-refundable because we are financially liable for camp costs after April 1st. If you cancel your spot after April 1st, the $500 total you have already paid will not be refunded. Final camp payments for the balance will be charged to your card the day before camp. Unfortunately, we have to be strict about our refund policy as we have lost too much money the last few years by being lenient.
April 1st is the deadline for all health forms. If we do not receive their forms by then, your child will be moved to the waitlist.
In the past, there has been trouble with our emails being bounced back as spam, or filtered into spam. Please make note that we will be sending out emails on January 22nd and February 6th. If you do not receive our e-mails, please contact us at mercerislandyounglife@gmail.com so that we can address the problem.
